You are the Diamond Mine

The rapidly expanding world of AI is confusing authentic artistic expression with expedited output.

High-profile coaches selling snake oil promise to transform you into someone else’s great, hounding you and shaming you into feeling incomplete and inadequate without their ‘special’ input. Failing to take up their ‘once in a lifetime deal’ can reinforce your status as a failure in your mind.

The brash self-made guru exuding confidence, thrives by peddling well organized systems and catchphrases. A machine that self-perpetuates by like-minded followers emulating the leader and the learned strategies.

Don’t get me wrong; I have personally benefited from coaching and motivational encouragement.

The real test over time, is, whether this type of packaged content yields lasting and sustainable results. Typically, there will be a loud and visible group of beneficiaries who sound like a majority; in reality, many who buy into big-ticket programs will drop by the wayside and settle for feeling like ‘lesser people.’ This is why there is a continual need for promotion and recruitment of new followers.

If I can explain it this way – we can have a natural bias toward relying on others to ‘do’ our success for us. After all, they tend to appear more polished and successful than the average person. It seems easier to spend money, get the quality help, and aspire to become like them.

I encourage you to glean what you need from various sources without tying yourself to a single ‘guru’. Don’t be complacent; take the time to research and clarify your own goals.

Clearly state your dreams. Investigate the AI programs and apps available, focus on what you need now, and build from there.

Your ideas and aspirations are best nurtured by you, provided you are willing to invest in that process.

Consider discovering the complete person God has created you to be by unearthing the latent diamonds and gifts within you. Dig for them; they are there. Believe in them, polish them, and share them.

Your diamonds are precisely what we need. They are what will make you successful – not taking on someone else’s baggage, ideas, or catchy phrases. It’s about valuing the unique fabric from which you are made and leveraging those qualities for your success.

Free yourself to be you, learn to navigate your limitations, and trust in the diamonds you possess.

Be crystal clear about the race you want to run, competing by becoming the best version of yourself and measuring your progress by your authenticity, originality, and fearlessness in the face of critics.

When you embrace this vision, the loud, brash entrepreneurial trainers begin to appear as second-best options.

The individual who recognizes their own value will become unstoppable and increasingly fearless. The notion of fitting into someone else’s mould becomes repulsive and counterproductive.

So, digging for your diamonds is paramount to your success as an artist, businessperson, or whatever you aspire to be. You must be prepared to dig; this implies work, concentration, and clear, written thoughts and goals.

You will discover that you are the diamond mine, one with inexhaustible potential.

Dig deep and let your diamonds shine.
